Delta Beverages has formulated a sponsorship package for Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League for brands Castle Lager and Chibuku Super. It will cater for the 2021-2023 period.
Addressing journalists this afternoon, Delta Corporation General Manager for Corporate Affairs, Patricia Murambinda said the soda giant is confident 2021 season will be fun packed.
“2021 will be an exciting season for all, with various activities lined up to restart our game in Zimbabwe despite the Covid-19 challenges”.
Murambinda said the Corporation is striving to capture the attention and leisure time of all football fans through a host of a exciting activities.
“Our objective this year is to capture all football fans enticing them to watch live games through promotional activities, support of their teams and sharing of the perfect moment in the comfort of their homes”.
She also stated they are dedicated to lure many beer lovers to the Castle Lager and Chibuku Super brands in the market.
Murambinda said this is why they came with the single- minded proposition, ONE FOR THE FANS, which also guarantees more action and excitement for the soccer fans all around the country.
“We will inspire and encourage the football fans to watch and support their favourite local teams in their thousands on local television stations and online,” She added.
The total sponsorship package for each season will be USD1,130,000 payable in ZW$ at the bank
rate of the day split as follows;
Castle Premier Soccer League – USD700, 000
Castle Challenge Cup – USD55,000
Chibuku Super Cup – USD375,000.
Delta Corporation is involved, through its principal subsidiary Delta Beverages, in the brewing of lager and traditional beer and the bottling of soft drinks under licence from the Coca Cola Company among many super brands worldwide.
