Having reflected on the raging conflict in Mozambique, the country’s ruling party, ZANU PF has expressed high gratitude to SADC for the quick response to offer solidarity to their sister country.

Addressing journalists this afternoon, ZANU PF national spokesperson Cde Simon Khaya Moyo highlighted that basing on SADC’S position on the Mozambique mayhem, the party is confident that unity and oneness in the Southern African region takes precedence over division and infiltration.

“The Party is fully convinced that the decision by SADC is a reaffirmation of the mantra, an injury to one of us is an injury to all of us. ZANU PF believes that Southern Africa should indeed be a region where peace, harmony and freedom for our people must continue to flourish without justifiable disturbance,” said Cde Khaya Moyo.

He stressed that the unity that characterized Southern African countries as Front-line States and assisted in breaking the shackles of colonialism and apartheid must reign into perpetuity with revitalized strength as the region, it’s economy and people get more integrated.

On the same note, Cde Khaya Moyo reassured the people of Mozambique that they are not alone in this fight therefore they must not lose hope.
