President Mnangagwa has said the fight against corruption will continue unabated moreso, his adminstration will never allow the Party to be a sanctuary of malcontents.
Giving his opening remarks to the 346th ordinary session of the Politburo at the Party Headquarters,First Secretary and President Cde E D Mnangagwa reiterated that the Second Republic under his leadership will continue to strongly fight all forms of corruption and warn those using such retrogressive and counter-revolutionary tactics to stop forthwith.
“The fight against corruption continues unabated. ZANU PF under the Second Republic will never allow the Party to be a sanctuary of malcontents. To this end,name dropping to camouflage criminal and corrupt behavior is unacceptable.
“Those using such retrogressive and counter-revolutionary tactics must stop forthwith. Varikuita izvi cherai chikomba mupfire mate,” said President Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa also said it is the duty of every citizen to expose all forms of corruption and urged to shame and shun the perpetrators.
“Our revolutionary nature and the ongoing national development agenda demands that we engender a corrupt free Zimbabwe. Let us therefore shame, shun and expose all forms of corruption.” said President Mnangagwa.
The President has also commended the Party’s collective and unequivocal call for unconditional removal of sanctions last month.
President Mnangagwa also said the Party Constitution requires members to be loyal, patriotic and promote inclusive development which leaves no one and no place behind.
